Much of the web work we do is not in the public domain and so aren’t able to provide links to those projects on this page. Below you will find sites which you are free to browse but please check the status of the sites as they are subject to change with the fast moving pace of the internet
The Riot website – Sept 09
www.riotcreative.co.uk (Status = Active)
What better way to exhibit our web design and development skills
than to show it off on our own website! Riot Creative is a company
just like any other, we need our website to look great and work well. We feel we’ve achieved this goal and we’ve enjoyed creating it.
This website is based on the design and development we originally came up with for our previous site – you know, the one that looked just like this one! The difference is; this time we wanted to show what can be achieved by combining our web skills with the free WordPress functionality. By using WordPress to deal with the back-end dynamics of a website we can make very cheap websites, with all the latest features, without costing a fortune.
Have a look around to get a feel of a website created using WordPress.

The Shankercat website – May 09
www.shankercat.co.uk (Status = Offline)
Shankercat is a company that sells alternative accessories. They needed a website with PayPal implemented so it can work as their online shop. As with most online shops they need to update their stock and a cheap way of doing this is to copy and paste PayPal ‘buy it now’ button codes onto a page. All of the pages in this site are editable using Cushy CMS so they are able to update the information themselves.

The Simon Shepherd Art website – Feb 09
www.simonshepherdart.co.uk (Status = Active but PayPal removed)
Simon Shepherd is an artist and needed a website to show off and sell his new sculptures of tattooed and pierced, life-size, heads and fruit. He came to us with some professional photographs of his work and wanted to base the site around the look of them so the pieces stand out and sell themselves without the need for too much text.
This site implements PayPal for purchasing the sculptures and also Light box gallery functionality. All of the text within the site is editable using Cushy CMS and with only the standard amount of SEO (search engine optimisation), which is included in the price of every website, if you search simon shepherd art or simon shepherd sculpture on Google UK and worldwide, his website comes up top. The level of SEO we implement as standard into all of the websites we create will get you up top if the content of your website is bespoke or un-common. If, however, you are selling shoes or car parts getting you higher up in the listings will take a little more work which we can provide as an extra on-going service.

It needed to be very high quality as it was being sent out to fellow business leaders to join Ivan Seidenberg, chairman and CEO of Verizon, at the Ritz in London, The Four Seasons in Paris and The Grand Hotel in Stockholm. Spot UV was used on the front cover and we also provided the designs to be printed on the silver envelope.
As the contents of this invite are private and for the recipient only we are only able to provide images of the outside of the invite. You can request a copy of the inside upon request.

A Cisco PowerPoint presentation – Aug 07
Job sourced from HN Marketing Ltd
In August 2007 we worked with HN Marketing to create a PowerPoint presentation using embedded flash. We also created a version from the flash one where most of the animations were re-created using only the animation abilities of PowerPoint. Both versions of the presentation were controllable using the standard click functionality to go through animations and screens but the overall effect of the presentation was far more visual than the standard PowerPoint presentations most companies are used to.

A CSC display photo – Apr 07
Job sourced from HN Marketing Ltd
Back in April 2007 one of the first jobs we were asked to work on by HN Marketing was a set of display posters for the CSC stand at the Gartner Event. The photo of the man on the tightrope needed to be extended horizontally by about 20% so that the photo sat nicely within the size allocated on the poster, leaving enough room for text. The tightrope and background image needed to be extended without it being noticable and this poster was being printed out at 140cm/110cm so it needed to be an invisible addition.
